Portrait Sessions

Im a mum; I know how quickly these days go by and how important it is to actually get in the photos. From my own experience I also understand how daunting it can be to book in a photo session so I keep my shoots relaxed, fun and candid. Ill generally find the nicest light, pop you in it and then let the kids take the lead. Well chat, play and I’ll guide and prompt where needed. But above all I embrace the crazy, the dirt, the sass and capture all the little moments in between. And trust me, in all the shoots you see below there was at least one tantrum and/or shy kid (or adult)!

Mini Session

$450 incl GST

If the idea of booking a full session is too daunting or out of your budget then this is probably all you need. Perfect for updating the grandparents wall or your family album. You’ll be done within 1/2 hour so its ideal for those with really little kids who don’t last long being asked to stand still (ish) You’ll end up with a few candids of you all as well as that perfect family portrait for framing/gifting.

These sessions are held at either The Aboretum in Olinda, Yheran Dheran Reserve in Mitcham or a spot in Warrandyte on weeknights during golden hour (the last hour or so before sunset).

Family Session

$950 incl GST

Let me join you on a family adventure, a walk, a picnic in a park or your backyard or even in your lounge room. Ill capture all the smiles, giggles and quiet moments of you as a family. These sessions are fun and candid and you won’t feel awkward at all. I can spend a bit more time getting to know you all and letting little ones personalities shine. You’ll of course be left with a classic portrait for gifting or framing but you can also build a whole album full of images capturing a moment in time.

These sessions can be held anywhere! Your favourite park, the beach, your house, a forest, anywhere really! I also know a few great spots so if you’re stuck for ideas let me know and I can make some suggestions. These are generally held on weekdays at Golden Hour (the last hour before sunset) if on location or first thing in the morning but let me know if you had something particular in mind.

What you get;

• 60-90 mins at a location of your choice

• Travel to your location within 100km of 3136

Newborn Session

$1250 incl GST

These take place during the day and can be booked in my studio or your home.

These are more documentary style than highly posed sessions. They’ll leave you with all the tiny details and moments as well as those framable photos for gifting or putting on announcement cards.

It is ideal to do these sessions within the first 10 days of bubs being born for the highest possibility of getting those sleepy shots however they can be done at anytime throughout the first year. So I suggest booking early to ensure your due date is available.

A studio booking will lend itself to more posed photos while doing them at your home (my preferred option) will allow me to capture details like the nursery, sibling interactions and you guys moving about routines; capturing and documenting this amazing chapter of your lives. I will capture you and your family in all the beautiful chaos, make the ordinary moments into something to treasure and create images that will move you in years to come.
